Because books make great gifts, a group of local writers will host three Authors’ Night signing events during the 2013 holiday season.
The first Authors’ Night will be held at Fisherman’s Inn, one of the Eastern Shore’s landmark restaurants, on Thursday, December 5, from 7-9PM. Monetary donations for The Star Democrat’s A Brighter Christmas Fund will be accepted at this kickoff event, as will the donation of new toys for Adopt-A-Bear Queen Anne’s. Fisherman’s Inn will be serving in the dining room and bar areas as usual. Local authors selling and signing their books include:

The second Authors’ Night will be held at the Centreville Branch of the Queen Anne’s County library on Wednesday December 11, from 7-9 pm. Participating authors at this event include ROBERT BIDINOTTO, KENTON KILGORE, BRENT LEWIS, MARK LIDINSKY, and JERRY SWEENEY, along with SUSAN JONES, the creator of WORDS’WORTH’S VOCABULARY VERSE A TO Z AND BACK AGAIN: A RHYMING ROMP THROUGH THE ALPHABET, SUSAN REISS, an award-winning television writer/producer who has written TARNISHED SILVER, the first in a new murder mystery series set on the Eastern Shore, and the award-winning photographer WILSON WYATT, author of a new tabletop book of regional photography, CHESAPEAKE VIEWS – CATCHING THE LIGHT and the executive editor of THE DELMARVA REVIEW, a regional literary journal.
The final Authors’ Night of the 2013 holiday season will be at the Kent Island Library on Thursday, December 18 from 6-8 pm. This event, designed for those last minute shoppers will include ROBERT BIDINOTTO, NICK HOXTER, SUSAN JONES, KENTON KILGORE, BRENT LEWIS, MARK LIDINSKY, SUSAN REISS, JERRY SWEENEY and WILSON WYATT.
