OF CHRISTMASES PAST

My hometown newspaper has always being supportive of my writing endeavors, and over the last couple years, easternshorebrent has often relied on old copies of the BAY TIMES for content.  I appreciate the encouragement and friendly coverage the BAY TIMES has given me over the last couple decades, and always appreciate the opportunity to tell my readers to support their local newspapers.

I also need to thank the Dunn family for entrusting me with their dad’s collection of BAY TIMES, from the first issue in November 1963 through 1980. When Gil Dunn passed away in 2015,  there were boxes and boxes of the BAY TIMES in his barn, and they were passed on to me. Most of the last two years of easternshorebrent would not have been possible without Gil Dunn’s newspaper collection. Thank you and Cheers!

And with that, let’s get to the BIG STORY:

  1. Loved looking at these Brent and remembering local favorites like Fox’s, Bell’s and others! Good to see Mr. Albert too. He sure left his mark on his boys!❤
